The Mets are losing for what feels like the 30th day in a row. They continue to lose games they had a lead in. The Mets managed a run in the second and refused to score another all night. I've had to listen to Vin Scully talk about the 3 home runs the Dodgers hit off Maine about a dozen times. Its infuriating. I think its about time for a closed door meeting. In fact, I think its well past time.
And who the f*ck does Hon Chi Kuo think he is flipping his bat? It's his first home run of his career and according to baseball-reference.com, the second f'ong hit of his career. The SECOND HIT. Who do you think you are flipping the bat? If it was 20 years ago you would have caught the next pitch you saw in your eye. But I guess baseball has changed. I didn't think Randolph would stand for that bush league b.s., but I guess I'm wrong again.
They still have two more at bats, but the Mets have given up on this one. They deserve to lose. Until they get mad and start hitting again, they don't deserve it. Why doesn't someone in that dugout get pissed and start kicking ass?! Get Hernandez out of the booth and send him down to that clubhouse to push some people around.
And what the hell happened to John Maine his last 4 starts????
